Another day of rallying in AZ. We started off in Payson, ended up in Cottonwood. We finished 3rd Unlimited and overall. The timed portion ended in the early afternoon, allowing for a casual drive through Sedona. Had dinner with the General and Fred who offered some good advice on sharing responsibilities and rallying.

I’ve never really had a desire to run a rally in a rental due to many of the things you bring up. I have done the Ophir Pass (http://www.narrowgauge.org/4×4/html/ophir.html) in a rented Impala before they rebuilt the road but I wasn’t trying to stay on time… 🙂
Don’t let “the man” get you down and make sure you post some photos. We’ll see you in June.
