Goblins, Ghouls, Vampires, and other assorted nocturnal beasts? No, I’m talking about rally cars at Heart of Darkness (HoD)! Okay I suppose there could have been some nocturnal beasts inside the rally cars, I didnt vet all the cars personally for fear of my life. First in class (unlimited) and second overall, one second behind the Damms (first in historic).

    Car 9 was a VW Bug who lost its oil pan and had to be carried home. One of the control crews punched their oil pan on the Brookmere section and also had to be carried home. It was a difficult night for VWs.

    The Milky Way was clearly visible at the start of Brookmere. Counted at least 5 shooting stars waiting to start.

    It was brisk, but not outrageous as it was known to be
