Standings end of Day 8

Friday, July 25th, 2008

Scores are out, here we are. I will cut and paste and edit and take full responsibility for any errors.

Summary:

Overall top ten. Dan Comden and Hans Adomeit of TeamD have 79 points.

Slaloms

Scores are also affected by slalom times, though it’s not clear where those have come in recently. Gordon Ryall posted hottest laps overall in the studded category and I believe both Colin Stenhouse (car #15) and someone in the CR-V (Jim or Siobahn Elder?) shared best times for quickest unstudded lap on Sunday.

The followup to the ice slalom debacle: we each get two chances to drive around a crazy slippery race track on a frozen lake and be the fastest. The goal is to be fastest or be within five seconds of the fastest car. If you’re not then you get penalty points. Sigh.
