The Alcan Winter Rally is only 16 days away. All eight of us will be competing as TeamD for the Alcan Winter Rally Team Award. This award goes to the team of three or four cars (including one rookie team) which scores the highest places in their respective classes.
Jeff put together a great Google maps map of exactly where we drove on day 1 taken from data collected in his GPS:

As time permits more maps will be added and more data will be added to them (we might even change the color of the route line).
We’re excited to announce that Yakima (www.yakima.com) will be coming along with TeamD for the 2008 Alcan 5000 winter rally. providing safe and secure storage options and light mounts for the vital supplies that we’ll need as we journey north of the Arctic Circle in February.
