As the last few miles of the Dempster highway passed beneath our wheels, the lengthy twilight of the north saw the sky fading to orange with the Taiga spruce outlining the horizon. The car is at 261,350 miles on the original engine — wish us luck.
Big day up next. Four years ago we had reindeer stew on our break here — looking forward to the options tomorrow.
Some changes to the overall scores will be seen tomorrow. A team or two gave up some points on the early TSD section, then some mixups on the slalom should have some teams happy, others less so.

A cold and gray day in Whitehorse opened to a re-run of the Long Lake TSD before we headed out to the lake again to run the ice slalom. The video has a handful of stills and some video of selected cars on the lake.
The lovely burg of Whitehorse is not far enough north for the Alcan Rally. And the usual route map.
