Last week, we took Marilyn to the local auto body shop that fixed the front air dam after the Barnes Lake incident. All she needs is a feather boa.

On the Dempster Highway south of Eagle Plains, we came over a ridge and saw a silver fox in the road. Too close.

We sat down for breakfast at the hotel in Eagle Plains. Said they would.

On Friday morning, we popped into the Eskimo Inn to get some breakfast. It appeared to be the only place in Inuvik open at 7am. The crew was in town filming season 2. Marinus gave him one of our yellow “Student Driver Please be patient while straighten the skid” magnets.

End of Day one and we only have one retirement (Car 16, hole in the sump). That’s a tight top grouping and it’s anyone’s rally. Note, however, that all 4 TeamD cars are in the top 7.
